Buying on the Kenai

Upsizing or downsizing, first home or relocating, a summer cabin or an investment property. We'll guide you every step of the trail.

More than meets the eye

Structure, comfort, location, price, and about 300 other things

The house, how it feels, where it sits and what it costs come first in every buyer's mind. They're only the start. A modern purchase runs to dozens of documents, close to two hundred steps and often a hundred people over six to eight weeks.

That's where a guide earns their keep. We know the documents, the people, the process and the order it all has to happen in, so you can stay focused on the home.

Homes

Family homes, log homes and cabins across the peninsula.

Land

Raw land and lots, from roadside acreage to remote parcels.

Recreation

Summer places and cabins near the rivers, lakes and coast.

Investment

Rentals and commercial buildings, with management if you want it.

The trail

How buying with us works

  1. Tell us what you're after

Send us your wish list: area, size, land, budget, timing. We're always watching for new homes, land and business opportunities.

  2. Get ready to buy

We'll introduce you to local lenders so you know your numbers before you fall for a place.

  3. Tour and compare

In person or, if you're out of state, by video and photos. We'll tell you what we see, good and bad.

  4. Offer and negotiate

We write a strong offer and negotiate repairs, terms and price on your behalf.

  5. Inspections to closing

Inspectors, surveyors, appraisers, title and insurance, coordinated so nothing slips between the cracks.

  6. Settle in

Need internet, utilities, snow removal or a contractor? We know who to call.

Planning a house-hunting trip?

Our sister company, Kenai Peninsula Vacation Rentals, can have a vehicle waiting at Kenai Airport and a cabin ready while you tour homes. One call sets up the whole trip.

Our standard

The minimum is our starting point

Every agent has to meet the representation standards set by the Alaska Real Estate Commission. We treat those standards as the floor we stand on, not the goal we reach for.

Your confidentiality, your goals, your interests and your money come first. Each document and each step is handled carefully, because the outcome is what counts.

“We finalized our purchase from out of state as he made sure it all went smoothly.”
