We certainly don’t want you to get the wrong impression by our choice of background picture on this page. We are not attempting to portray ourselves as metaphorical ferocious carnivores. On the contrary, it occurs to us that the skill and tenacity of a fishing bear standing in a rushing river, at the edge of a rocky waterfall, with its back to a swift current, is impressive and worthy of mental admiration and awe. The ability to focus in difficult circumstances and use acquired skills to compete successfully on behalf of our clients and protect their interests is critical in the real estate industry. In fact, there are many skills essential to the success of a complicated transaction such as those found in real estate. Using these skills on behalf of our clients in situations where the people, personalities, properties and potential problems may be at odds and competing against one another gives us and our clients an edge in this competition.

Again, for emphasis, we do not view real estate transactions as competitive or hostile and that is certainly not our mindset. A vast majority of real estate transactions are smooth, mutually agreeable events in which all parties are winners from start to finish. However, there are those that can become convoluted and complicated, even adversarial. It is critical to have professional representation that is prepared and skilled to compete and protect you if and when a transaction takes such a turn. After all, the image of some person sitting in a lawn chair at the edge of a lake with a pole and a bobber is certainly not fishing at the same competence and skill level as this bear.
